The Faculty of Economics Research Centre was established in 2013 to help carry out research projects at the Faculty. The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration Research Centre is an independent research unit of the Faculty, supervised directly by the Dean.

We are passionate about fostering environmentally sustainable and socially equitable urban and human development processes and exploiting the potential role of universities in these. We use inter- and transdisciplinary qualitative, experience-based, participatory, and action-oriented research and education methods.

The extension and deepening of the university's third mission activities, local community engagement and cooperation, social and environmental responsibility and justice, the focus on human and environmental well-being and the promotion of equal opportunities are of paramount importance to the members of the Research Centre.
