Our students visited ContiTech in Mako

Students from the Bachelor of Business Administration and Management and the Master of International Economics and Business participated in factory visits.

On the 15th and 16th of November, the two groups visited ContiTech Fluid Automotive Hungária Kft. in Mako, where they were given exciting presentations by former students of our Faculty on behalf of the company and, of course, had the opportunity to ask questions about the company and the topics discussed. Luca Vadkerti represented HR, Rita Boros Lean Management, while Zoltán Harmath represented Controlling.

Our BAM students were able to learn about the company's business and operations, as well as gain useful information on HR issues. Those from the INEB course were able to take part in a factory visit and hear financial and HR presentations from ContiTech staff. Our students were impressed by the equipment and modernity of the factory and many of them highlighted the international nature of the company as an advantage.

Continental is a leading German automotive group, specialising in the production of tyres, braking systems, car safety equipment and other automotive and transport components.

ContiTech's Mako site has been fulfilling the needs of automotive customers since 1995. The company was acquired by Continental AG in 2004 and has since grown to become one of the largest employers in the area. Their main profile is the production and installation of cooling and heating pipes.

Nothing proves the success of the trip more than the knowledge and experiences our students gained:

"The HR person gave us very good tips on how to write a good CV and also talked to us about making good use of traineeships, emphasising how good they are."

"I was surprised to see that you are addressing the mental health of your employees. I think it is very important that all employers pay attention to this. It was a pleasant surprise."

"I liked that there were a high number of female employees, it's good to see that there are more opportunities for women here."

"I really liked the factory itself and the tips on writing a good CV were useful."

Thank you very much to the organisers, the supporting organisers, Barbara Masa, Mónika Zákány and our trainers Zsófia Kürtösi and Eszter Megyeri for providing such an exciting and interesting programme for our foreign students!
