The Prominent Partner of the GTK award goes to Contitech Rubber Industrial Kft

In accordance with the Faculty Council’s decision the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Péter Kovács presented the Prominent Partner of the GTK award to the managing director of the Contitech Rubber Industrial Kft at the Faculty’s graduation ceremony on 5 July 2019.

The University of Szeged Faculty of Economics and Business Administration created the Prominent Partner of the GTK Award in 2017 to honor its partners committed to supporting the Faculty’s goals and improving the quality of economics training programmes available in Szeged with a special emphasis on education, research, talent care, communication between the faculty’s citizens and further cooperation. The Faculty awards the title to one of its partners no more than twice a year.

The Faculty Council has decided that the Prominent Partner of the GTK Award in 2019 shall go to Contitech Rubber Industrial Kft. Founded in Hannover in 1871 as a division of Continental AG, the company designs and produces functional parts, components and complete systems for the automotive industry and other clients.

ContiTech Rubber Industrial Kft. has been offering scholarships for talented students at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration since 2014. As a place of professional internship the company plays an important role in the training of yound economists in Szeged.

The leaders and colleagues of the company have always supported the Faculty’s intentions for development regardless of them being focused on keeping in closer contact with the labour market or on organising and completing compulsory professional internships.

With the Prominent Partner of the GTK award the community of the Faculty would like to express their gratitude for this support.
